Watch me demonstrate the first quest on YouTube: Link to YouTube

Getting started: The first quest is available to start in this version of the game. You can speak to NPCs in and around the village to get started. If you are limited on time, I would recommend following the "collect seeds" path, but the quest is fully completable and serves as a nice introduction to game mechanics.

Controls: Press "i" to open the inventory, press "esc" to open the menu (or "e" if playing the web version). Scrolling with the mouse wheel zooms in and out. All other controls are left and right clicks.

Background: The Little Ice Age was a period of time that brought major changes to the climate of North America. Civilizations that were once booming saw huge drops in population due to heavy reliance on corn, a grain that, while nutritious and easily storable, requires a predictable climate. Your goal is to rediscover the crops domesticated by your ancestors, discover new mutations, attract animals, and provide a starving population with alternatives to corn.

Along the way, you will discover that the world is not exactly what you expected. It is full of magic and spirituality, which can be harnessed for combat and exploration. While you have pressing goals to aid your people, you also must strike a balance with nature. Stripping the land of resources will eventually lead to crop failures and abandonment by animal populations.

Can you save the natural, man-made, and spirit world from ecological destruction or will the changing climate wreak havoc on you and those you care about?

Gameplay: Understanding how you can interact with the world is an important first step. In this game, the soil, water, plants, and animals are all interactive. With a shovel you can collect soil and find other materials to craft and build with.

You can use dirt to build on water or land.

Interact with the world!

Picking seeds from fully grown plants gives a chance of mutation, which changes traits such as yield and growing style.

This game is made by one-person team.
